We welcome all band and orchestra instruments in good condition. Typically, the instruments in highest demand include baritone horns, baritone saxophones, cellos, double basses, tenor saxophones, tubas, and violas. With the help of our donors, we are able to meet those needs!
If you have a drum set, upright bass, or keyboard you'd like to donate, please get in touch with us at info@bringingmusictolife.org so that we can make additional arrangements. Sorry, but we do not accept pianos or organs.
Yes. Almost all instruments require some work. Our repair partners restore them at a greatly reduced cost to ensure they’re in the best, playable condition when schools receive them.
Yes. After we receive and repair your instrument, we’ll send a thank you letter for tax purposes. Your donation, with a value determined by you, will be tax deductible to the extent allowed by the law.
Most are awarded to Title I Colorado schools with underfunded music programs. Since the program’s inception, we’ve provided 9,300 instruments to more than 360 Colorado schools, impacting 25,000 students.

Yes, Rocky Mountain Music Repair accepts donations year-round for Bringing Music to Life. They are open from 10AM - 6PM Monday through Friday at 2150 W. 6th Ave, Unit E in Broomfield.
